CulturePulse is an independent digital media publication covering anime and manga — the news, the reviews, the analysis, and the culture that surrounds them. We are published by CulturePulse.
We started CulturePulse because we felt the anime media landscape lacked a publication with genuine editorial conviction. Most coverage is either algorithmically optimised for traffic or thinly veiled promotional material. We wanted something different: journalism that treats anime and manga as the serious artistic and cultural medium they are.
What we cover
Breaking news from studios, streaming platforms, and industry events. Episode and season reviews with honest, considered verdicts. Features and analysis that go beyond surface-level takes. The Indian anime and manga community, which is large, passionate, and chronically under-served by international publications.
How we work
Every article on CulturePulse is written, edited, and published by our editorial team. We do not aggregate or republish content from other outlets. We do not accept payment for coverage. Our reviews are independent — studios and streaming platforms do not receive editorial influence in exchange for access.
We use official press imagery under editorial licence. Where we use fan-created artwork, we credit the artist and link to their original work. If you are an artist and would like your work removed or credited differently, please contact us.
